INTERPLAN has secured a block of hotel rooms at special rates during EDBT 2006.Select city centre locations conveniently connected to the venue by direct public transportation or in walking distance.To benefit from these rates, please reserve your hotel room within the (online-) registration. Indicate your hotel of preference or the preferred price category.

Hotel Reservation and Deposit / Guarantee

To reserve a hotel room at special rates, please complete the (online-) registration form. Indicate your hotel of preference or the preferred price category. However, INTERPLAN reserves the right to book a room in a similar hotel in the event that the preferred hotel / category is fully booked. The reservations will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Rooms in the following hotels are available (see City Map for hotel locations):

To guarantee your hotel reservation it is necessary to pay the rate for the first night as a deposit or to indicate your credit card details that will be forwarded to the respective hotel as guarantee. Upon receipt of your booking and payment / credit card details, we will send you a letter confirming your hotel reservation. If you have indicated a credit card number, the full stay has to be paid directly in the hotel upon departure, as the card won’t be charged in advance. In case you have paid a deposit you will receive a hotel voucher showing the amount of the deposit paid. This hotel voucher must be presented at the reception desk of the hotel upon departure. The deposit will be deducted from the hotel bill. A voucher is worth the amount written on it. Should you not present the voucher when checking out of the hotel, you will be charged for the full amount with no dedication of the deposit being made. The deposit paid for the voucher will not be reimbursed after the conference!

Cancellation free of charge is possible until February 09, 2006! For any reservations made after this date, Interplan can not guarantee room availability in the requested hotel!

Modifications / Cancellation

Any changes must be forwarded to INTERPLAN in written, either by e-mail, fax or letter.
Please inform INTERPLAN and NOT the hotel, about any changes regarding arrival and departure dates.

Please note: The hotel reserves the right to charge any changes (later arrival/earlier departure, i.e. lost room nights) received later than February 09, 2006.

A cancellation of the entire booking and/ or modifications are only free of charge until February 09, 2006. If a pre-payment has already been made the amount paid will be refunded reduced by an administrative fee in the amount of € 15,00. After this date the hotel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the full stay in case the room cannot be resold. In case of a cancellation, either the paid deposit will not be paid back or the given credit card may be charged directly by the hotel with the cancellation fee appearing.

Please register either by sending us the registration form by fax or fill in the online-registraton form or register on site at the Conference. For any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

before February 19, 2006 to benefit from the reduced rates. Registration forms received without payment cannot be processed. The full registration fee will be applied to any forms postmarked after February 19, 2006. Registrations received after March 21, 2006 will be processed as on-site registrations and will not be confirmed before the congress. In this case, please show proof of your payment or pay directly upon arrival at the registration desk. If fees have been forwarded late and have not yet been credited to the account of INTERPLAN, a copy of the remittance order, certified by your bank, will be required.

In case of cancellations received:
INTERPLAN must be notified of any cancellation in writing, either by letter, by fax or by e-mail.

- before February 20, 2006: 50 % of the registration fee can be refunded (minus bank charges)
- from February 20, 2006: no refund can be given for cancellations received on or after this
date

Methods of Payment
The registration fees for the congress and the hotel deposit must reach INTERPLAN at the same time as the registration form, latest 2 weeks before the congress. The only currency accepted is the Euro (€).
All payments must be addressed to: INTERPLAN AG München, keyword:EDBT 06
State participants name clearly, otherwise payment cannot be identified!
Please ensure that when payment is made by bank transfer that the transfer/bank charges are incurred by yourself and not the congress. The full registration fees must be received by INTERPLAN to ensure your registration.

Only two methods of payment are accepted:

Cofirmation of Registration

Registration will be confirmed by e-mail or airmail only after payment has been received. In case you need an invoice in order to effect the payment please contact us.
Please show your registration confirmation at the registration desk when collecting your congress documentation. Participants and speakers will receive a name badge. Everyone is requested to wear this badge for all congress activities. The badge is the pass for the scientific programme.

Cancellation

Tickets for Social Program
Tickets can be booked via the online-registration-form. Please fill in the form and indicate the number of tickets requested for each tour. The payment has to be made with the registration and can be done either by credit card or by bank transfer to the following account:

After receipt of your payment you will receive a booking confirmation. Your tickets can be collected on-site in the congress center together with your congress material.
Please note that tickets which are not paid by January 20, 2006 will be cancelled. Depending on availability they can be re-booked on-site at the congress center.
Cancellation of tickets paid is free of charge until January 20, 2006 . The cancellation must be done in writing. The amount already paid will be reimbursed less an administrative charge in the amount of € 15,00. After January 20, 2006 a cancellation is not possible anymore.
In case the minimum number of participants requested could not be reached, these tours have to be cancelled. Of course, fees already paid will be reimbursed.

City Walk “Munich Traditional” You will explore the historical centre of Munich on foot. The experienced guide will give you all kind of interesting and entertaining information about the sights and buildings (e.g. Opera, City Hall, Royal Residence etc.) you pass on the way. Away from the streets you will get to know Munich in a way that even many residents do not know. Tuesday 28.03.2006, forenoon

BMW Driver Training This well known training provides you with the theory of road vehicle dynamics as well as with practical driving exercises. You will be trained in how to cope with the most risky situations that can occur in road traffic. There will be exercises, e.g. emergency braking and obstruction avoidance in realistic road situations, to install a feeling of security in you; conducted at city speeds. Royal Castle Hidden in the seclusion of the mountains King Ludwig II built his dream castle: Neuschwanstein. On this excursion we will see this extraordinary castle, testifying to the vision of Bavaria’s fairytale King. We will make a short photo stop in Oberammergau – famous for its brightly painted houses (the so-called “Lüftlmalerei“) and woodcarvers. We will then have four hours time to visit the castle Neuschwanstein and to have lunch in Hohenschwangau just opposite. On the way back to Munich a stop at the famous “Wies Church” is planned. Thursday 30.03.2006 planned for 20 participants (if the number of participants is below 20, the tour can not be offered) from about 8:30 to 18:00 € 89 per participant

Munich City Tour & Castle Nympheburg On this tour your guide will show you by bus the most beautiful places in the city centre of Munich and you will get an impression of the culture, the history and the way of life of Munich’s citizens. We will see places of interest around Königsplatz, the Lenbachhaus, the Old, New and Modern Pinakothek, the Theatinerkirche, the Royal Palace and many more. Passing the Olympic Park of the 1972 games, the tour leads to Nymphenburg Palace, the former summer residence of the electoral princes and kings of Bavaria. You will be expected for a guided tour inside the palace, where you can also admire the legendary “Gallery of beauties“ of King Ludwig I. The tour ends with coffee in the famous “Palmengarten Café”.
